Study Collection and Film Archive Catalog

The catalog contains listings for the entire collection of media materials held by the Film Studies Center: film prints, dvds, videos, and laserdiscs.

  • Study collection:  Videos, dvds, and laserdiscs are available for use by students, faculty and staff of the University of Chicago.  This collection is primarily non-circulating and the FSC provides viewing carrels on-site.  Please see the Center's Access and Loan policy for specific borrower information.
  • Film prints:  35mm and 16mm film prints do not circulate and are available for use within the FSC for cinema studies courses.
  • Faculty may check out materials for classroom use. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made by phone at 773.702.8596.
  • Titles designated ON RESERVE in the catalog are for use only within the FSC facility.
