Description:
One of Australia's most innovative artists, Tracey Moffatt has received considerable international acclaim as a filmmaker and photographer. Organized by DIA Center for the Arts in New York, Tracey Moffatt, Free-falling is the most comprehensive exhibition of the artist's work to date and will be the first opportunity in the midwest to see these works in depth. Moffatt's works draw from her personal experience as an Aboriginal woman raised with a white foster family as well as Hollywood movies, Japanese cinema, American roller derby and suburban life in the 60's.
