Lecture by Valerie Smith
Monday, February 21, 2005 - 4:30pm

In this lecture, Valerie Smith explores ways in which recent films such as Spike Lee's Four Little Girls (1997) and Clark Johnson's Boycott (2001) revise conventional strategies of remembering and representing the U.S Civil Rights Movement.

Professor Smith is Director of the Program in African American Studies at Princeton.
