- Ben Brewster is currently Assistant Director of the Wisconsin Center for Film and Theater Research. He is a prime specialist in acting styles in the history of theater and cinema, and his talk is based on previously unknown materials about mime inserts in nineteenth-century ballet as well as on mime inserts in silent films.
