- An experimental comedy, one of the first sound films produced in Norway, with a Harold Lloyd-inspired slapstick comic protagonist who only stutters as he falls in love with the chorus-girl Lill. Ibsen draws on the aesthetic experiments of the interwar period, and self-consciously mixes elements from the revue tradition and the Hollywood backstage musical with Soviet style montage and French Dadaism.
