Yaaba means grandmother and is the name that Bila gives to Sana, an old woman who is shunned as a witch by the most of villagers who blame her for any ill that befalls them. Some attempts are made to attack Sana and drive her out of the village but Bila befriends and stands up for her and she gradually instills in him some of her serenity and wisdom.
