Shows Chinese corpses, flaming villages, and rubble. Part 2: Chinese refugees arrive at a rest camp; are fingerprinted, issued clothing and fed; attend a camp meeting; and then trudge toward another camp. Capture footage: small Japanese tanks move along a road. Shows Japanese air raids on Nanking in 1937, sections of the city ablaze, Japanese troops patrolling in the city, and Chinese civilians being marched away.
