- Footage from National Archives; identified as seized enemy records. On Japanese atrocities in China. Unclear if all of it is Japanese-made footage. Part 1 shows refugees, mostly women and children, in a hospital; describes the origin and nature of their wounds. Japanese troops parade through a Chinese town and run through an obstacle course. Shows Chinese corpses, flaming villages, and rubble. Part 2: Chinese refugees arrive at a rest camp; are fingerprinted, issued clothing and fed; attend a camp meeting; and then trudge toward another camp. Capture footage: small Japanese tanks move along a road. Shows Japanese air raids on Nanking in 1937, sections of the city ablaze, Japanese troops patrolling in the city, and Chinese civilians being marched away.
