Set in Naples in the 1980s, this film is the story of two men who share a name and a birthday and whose lives connect when their careers are in decline. Antonio (Tony) Pisapia is an egotistical singer who, after being accused of rape, finds himself performing at fairs and small gatherings, trying to recapture his earlier success. Antonio Pisapia is a shy soccer coach who feels alienated in his current position, and whose career as a professional player was ended by an injury. Although they go their separate ways after meeting and wordlessly sharing their experiences, the two men's lives remain intertwined.
